Expect the Unexpected

I chose this image because this piece of art work looks incredible and i haven't experienced using
water colour but by looking at this piece i would want to try using it.

I like how their is a lot of detail in this image and it looks like the artist put a lot of work into it.

I like this image because the artists sketching and drawing skills in this artwork is very impressive and the girl looks realistic.

"QUOTE"

My favorite quote out of all five that i had to choose from was the quote that explains what my favorite way to finish work is and it goes "Don't quit when your tired, quit when you are done" This quote immediately sets a goal in my mind and that is to finish off my work before i get tiered and decide to give up.

EXPERIMENTING

These four paper planes that me and my partner alpha made for this task were used as different experiments. We were told to experiment with making paper planes and then see which paper plane fly's the furthest &what didn't work for the plane to glide in the air.

This plane flew the furthest out of all the other three experiments.

Personal Artist Research
TANG CHIEW LING

I chose this image by Tang Chiew Ling because it looked really interesting how she used the leaves to make a dress and you can see that in the picture itself.

I thought this was very creative using yellow flowers to make the frills of this womens dress and to create the whole garment. In this picture i see a lady wearing a beautiful dress made up of yellow tulips.

I like this picture because i like how the deadness of the leaf made up different shades of brown which makes the dress look like its flaring around.

Building Images

I Picked this image because a lot of people nowadays like Kim Kardashian and girls want to have her body figure but what people don't realize when they look at magazines is that her photos have been edited using Photoshop to make her look perfect.

I chose this image because i like the way the artist used the wall and did these designs as if it is a game or maze. I think that the artist painted these patterns to create this picture.

I like the way this image is different as in the colors that have been used are odd. Her skin color is blue and her hair color is pink which is unique. I think the artist used Photoshop to create this image.

Surface Research
Yasumasa Morimura

I used this image because i like the way that Yasumasa used a dull and dark background to make the garment stand out n also to bring out the colors of the flowers in the painting. Similar to what one of my favorite artists does in her paintings (Sarah Dolby).

I chose to use this picture because i like how in the background theirs destruction happening with the lightning and the lady is just posing there in a beautiful dress. Things i see in this image is nature, a man, clouds, a lady, a puppy, land, a dress, and a really big wig.

This last photo i have chosen is amazing, when Morimura convincingly slips into the role of legendary silver screen goddess Marilyn Monroe. Everybody loves a dame and Yasumasa Morimura just loves to be one. This self portrait shows me confidence and bravery and that's what i love about it.
